Sync settings with iCloud

Turn on iCloud Sync to keep compatible Weather Fusion settings aligned between devices signed in to the same iCloud account. Use Back up station data to move the local observation database between devices.

Turn synchronization on or off

On iPhone and iPad, open Settings and change Enable iCloud Sync.
On macOS, open Settings > iCloud Sync, then change Enable iCloud Sync.

When enabled, Weather Fusion exchanges supported provider, station, unit, dashboard-layout, color-palette, and other compatible app-preference values through iCloud. The System, Light, or Dark display mode remains device-specific, and station .wfdb packages remain local.

Allow time for another device to receive changes. Keep Weather Fusion open briefly on both devices and confirm that both are signed in to the intended iCloud account.

Turning synchronization off preserves the local settings already applied and stops future settings exchange on that device. Use Back up station data for observation records, and reconnect provider authorization when a provider requires a device-specific session.
