Connect AcuRite

Connect AcuRite

Use AcuRite for an AcuRite station that publishes observations to Weather Underground. Setup requires the station’s Weather Underground API Key and Station ID.

Common families include AcuRite Atlas, Optimus, Iris, Notos, and earlier 5-in-1 or 3-in-1 systems that publish to Weather Underground. See AcuRite weather stations.

Before you begin

  1. Configure the AcuRite station to share observations with Weather Underground. AcuRite provides instructions for My AcuRite and PC Connect systems on this page.
  2. Confirm that the station appears in the Weather Underground device list and has a recent observation.
  3. Create a Weather Underground API key when needed.

Add the station

  1. In Weather Fusion, choose AcuRite.
  2. Follow the AcuRite sharing guidance shown in the setup flow.
  3. Enter the Weather Underground API key and station ID.
  4. Choose Test Connection.
  5. Choose Done.

Real-time refresh, history, and available measurements follow the data that Weather Underground receives from the AcuRite station. Weather Fusion displays the AcuRite console measurements transmitted to Weather Underground.

If the connection succeeds but data is old, check the AcuRite sharing status and the latest observation time on Weather Underground.
