Station details reference
Station
Find identity, location, connection metadata, data tools, and current activity for the selected station.
- On iPhone and compact iPad layouts, open the Station tab.
- On a regular-width iPad, show the Inspector and choose Station.
- On macOS, choose Show Inspector from the Inspectors menu if the Inspector is hidden, then choose Weather Station.
Actions
- On iPhone and compact iPad layouts, pull to refresh to reload connection-service station metadata and available Ecowitt camera snapshots.
- On macOS, choose Data > Refresh Stations when provider metadata looks stale.
- On iPhone and compact iPad layouts, tap Data in the Station toolbar to open Weather Station Data for the selected station. On any iPhone or iPad layout, Settings > Data opens the same data surface.
Station data tools
On iPhone and iPad, Weather Station Data includes Download Older Observations, Download Missing Observations, Redownload History, and Recalculate Summaries when those tools apply to the selected station.
The Station screen on iPhone and iPad also shows current download activity while Weather Fusion updates stored history.
When a task is active, Activity shows its progress. On iPhone and iPad, tap Downloading observations… or Calculating summaries… in Activity to stop the current task.
On macOS, the same station data summary is available from the Inspector Data tab, with download and maintenance commands also available from the menus.

Camera snapshots
Ecowitt cameras returned with the configured account can appear above the selected station’s metadata when a latest snapshot is available. On iPhone and iPad, select the image to open the full-screen viewer, share the snapshot, or inspect its capture time, dimensions, source, status, and model. On Mac, select the image to open Quick Look or use Refresh Snapshot.
