Back up station data

Create a Weather Fusion .wfdb backup before deleting or repairing a station database, or when moving observations to another device. The backup contains the local database package for one station.

1. Open Settings > Backup and Restore.
2. Find the station under Back Up Database.
3. Choose Back Up….
4. Select a destination and keep the .wfdb extension on the saved package.

On macOS, File > Back Up Database… is also available for the selected station.

Keep an independent copy until the backup has been restored and verified. Provider credentials and device-specific authorization might need to be configured separately on another device.
