Historical chart reference
Historical Charts
Find the charts and stored measurement sources available across the rolling 24h period and fixed day, week, month, and year periods. The rolling period uses observations from the preceding 24 elapsed hours. Calendar periods use observations or summaries appropriate to their length.
The chart picker lists measurements supported by the selected station and period. A chart appears when the provider and station supply the metric and compatible observations or summaries have been stored.
Temperature, humidity, and comfort
These measurements use line charts. Visible buckets use averages unless the chart description specifies another statistic.
| Chart | Stored measurement |
|---|---|
| Temperature | Outdoor air temperature |
| Humidity | Outdoor relative humidity |
| Dew Point | Outdoor dew point |
| Vapor Pressure Deficit | Vapor Pressure Deficit |
| Apparent Temperature | Apparent temperature reported or derived for the station |
| Feels Like Temperature | The station’s feels-like temperature metric |
| Heat Index | Heat index |
| THW Index | Temperature-humidity-wind index |
| THSW Index | Temperature-humidity-sun-wind index |
| Wind Chill | Wind chill |
| Wet Bulb | Wet-bulb temperature |
| Black Globe Temperature | Black globe temperature |
| Wet Bulb Globe Temperature | Wet Bulb Globe Temperature |
Indoor and extra channels
| Chart group | Available charts |
|---|---|
| Indoor conditions | Indoor Temperature, Indoor Apparent Temperature, Indoor Feels Like Temperature, Indoor Dew Point, Indoor Heat Index, Indoor Wet Bulb, Indoor Wet Bulb Globe Temperature, Indoor Humidity, Indoor CO2, and Indoor Noise |
| Extra temperature channels | Extra Temperature, Extra Humidity, Extra Dew Point, and Extra Feels Like Temperature, each for channels 1 through 10 |
| Extra indoor modules | Extra CO2 and Extra Noise, each for channels 1 through 7 |
Each available channel is a separate line chart, which preserves the identity of attached modules and multi-channel sensors.
Rain, lightning, and evapotranspiration
| Chart | Presentation and bucket statistic |
|---|---|
| Rain Rate | Bar chart using the maximum rain rate in each visible bucket |
| Rain Accumulation | Bar chart using the summed rain amount in each visible bucket |
| Lightning Strikes | Stacked bar chart using strike totals for each visible bucket |
| Closest Lightning | Point chart using the closest stored strike distance in each visible bucket |
| Evapotranspiration | Bar chart using summed evapotranspiration for each visible bucket |
Wind
| Chart | Presentation and bucket statistic |
|---|---|
| Wind | Line chart of average sustained wind speed |
| Wind Direction | Wind rose built from compatible wind-speed and direction samples |
| Wind Gust | Line chart using the maximum gust in each visible bucket |
| Wind Gust Direction | Wind rose built from compatible gust and gust-direction samples |
Pressure, solar, and UV
| Chart | Presentation and bucket statistic |
|---|---|
| Pressure | Line chart of average pressure, preferring sea-level pressure and using station pressure when appropriate |
| Solar Irradiance | Line chart of average solar irradiance |
| UV Index | Line chart using the maximum UV index in each visible bucket |
Air quality
| Chart group | Available charts |
|---|---|
| Particulates | Separate PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 line charts |
| Additional particulate channels | Separate PM2.5 1 through PM2.5 4 line charts |
| Air-quality sensor conditions | Air Temperature, Air Humidity, Air Dew Point, Air Heat Index, Air Wet Bulb, and Air CO2 |
| Indoor particulate sensor | Indoor PM2.5, Indoor PM10, Indoor PM2.5 AQI, Indoor PM10 AQI, Indoor PM Temperature, and Indoor PM Humidity |
| Air Quality Index | AQI Value, using the maximum AQI in each visible bucket |
Soil and plant sensors
Historical provides separate Leaf Wetness 1 through Leaf Wetness 8 line charts when those channels are stored. Observations and the iPhone Historical Observation Data detail provide the broader soil and plant catalog, including soil temperature, moisture, tension, salinity, permittivity, water potential, leaf temperature, and leaf-wetness duration.
Metrics available through observation details
Observations and Historical Observation Data remain the complete stored-record inspection surfaces for values such as degree days, storm event times, last-rain time, forecast text, device-health fields, and normalized metrics available only as stored records. See Supported measurements for the full catalog.
