Recalculate summaries

Use Recalculate Summaries when Day, Week, Month, or Year values differ from the underlying observations, especially after a restore or large backfill.

On iPhone and iPad, open Settings > Data, then choose Recalculate Summaries in Data Tools. Compact layouts also provide this action from the Station Data sheet.
On macOS, choose Data > Recalculate Summaries.

Keep Weather Fusion active until the calculation finishes. Recalculation reads the observations already stored in the local database and rebuilds their summaries.

When observations themselves are missing, download them before recalculating. Use Download older observations for missing earlier coverage or Fill gaps in historical data for holes between stored rows.
