Switch and manage weather stations

Switch the active station from the station picker. Manage Stations is the central list for configured account stations, followed public stations, and local station databases.

Switch stations

On iPhone and iPad, tap the station name in the app toolbar, then choose a station.
On macOS, use the station picker in the toolbar. Choose File > New Window With… to open another station in a separate window.

What station management is for

Open Manage Stations to:

choose which stations appear in station pickers;
arrange the order of visible stations;
add another eligible station on iPhone or iPad;
create a backup of a station database;
remove a saved public or settings-backed station;
delete a local station database;
review local storage entries that need attention.

Hiding a station keeps its configuration and local observations while removing it from normal station pickers. Removing a station changes its saved configuration. Deleting its database removes the local observation package.

Open Manage Stations

On iPhone and iPad, open Settings > Data Source, then choose Manage Stations.
On macOS, open Settings and choose Stations.

Change station visibility

Choose Hide Station to remove a station from normal station pickers while retaining its local database and connection settings. If every live station is hidden, Weather Fusion directs you back to station management, where Show Station makes one available again.

Use Edit mode on iPhone and iPad, or the ordering controls on Mac, to arrange stations. The same station order is used by station pickers.
