Remove a station and its local data

Use Manage Stations to remove a followed public station, delete a local observation database, or hide a station from normal pickers.

Remove a public station

Open station management.
Select a user-added Windy or Weather Underground station.
Choose Remove Station and confirm.

Removing a public station clears its saved configuration from Weather Fusion. The provider service retains the station. Account-owned stations remain controlled by the provider account and can reappear when the station list refreshes.

Delete a local station database

Open station management.
Select the station whose local records should be removed.
Choose Delete Database and confirm.

Deleting the database removes the station’s local .wfdb package, including stored observations and summaries. Create a station backup first when the records might be needed again.

To keep the database but remove the station from normal pickers, choose Hide Station instead.
