Fill gaps in historical data

Use Download Missing Observations when a stored period contains gaps between existing observations.

On iPhone and iPad, open Settings > Data, then choose Download Missing Observations in Data Tools. Compact layouts also provide this action from the Station Data sheet.
On macOS, choose Data > Download Missing Observations.

Weather Fusion evaluates known gaps and requests only the ranges the provider can recover. Keep the app active while the task runs.

This action appears only for providers that support targeted gap repair. Provider retention, account access, and rate limits can prevent older rows from being recovered.

Inspect the repaired period in Observations. If summary values remain inconsistent after the rows are restored, recalculate summaries.
