Real-time card reference
Real Time Cards
Compare the Real Time card types and the current readings, summaries, rolling history, and location context each one can present.
The available cards follow the station’s current metric catalog. Provider access, station hardware, attached modules, and stored history determine which cards have data. Use Settings > Real Time to show, hide, and reorder available cards.
Station and condition cards
| Card | Content |
|---|---|
| Station Map | The selected station’s location. Valid station coordinates provide the map position. |
| Current Condition | A concise headline based on current rain, wind, temperature, solar, air-quality, or pressure context. Valid station coordinates can also provide Apple Weather context. |
| Sun Cycle | Civil dawn, sunrise, sunset, and civil dusk for the station’s current day. |
| Moon Cycle | Moonrise, moonset, phase, and illumination for the station’s current day. |
Core weather cards
| Card | Content |
|---|---|
| Temperature | Current outdoor temperature, with the day’s high and low when a current-day summary is available. |
| Relative Humidity | Current outdoor humidity, with the day’s high and low when available. |
| Dew Point | Current outdoor dew point, with the day’s high and low when available. |
| Lightning | Last-strike distance and age, proximity context, recent detections, and available 1-hour or rolling 24-hour strike totals. |
| Current Rain | Rain rate together with compatible daily, rolling 24-hour, or storm accumulation. The exact rows follow the station’s rain metrics. |
| 24-h Rain | A compact chart and total for the preceding 24 elapsed hours, with current rain rate when available. Recent stored rain observations provide the chart bars. |
| Evapotranspiration | The current compatible evapotranspiration value, with daily or monthly totals when supplied. |
| Wind | Current sustained wind speed and direction, with the day’s maximum when available. |
| Wind Gust | Current or 10-minute gust and direction, with the day’s maximum when available. |
| Pressure | Current sea-level pressure when available, with station pressure as the fallback and current-day high and low when available. |
| Pressure Tendency | Current pressure tendency, including the 3-hour pressure change when supplied. |
| Solar Irradiance | Current solar irradiance, with the day’s high and low when available. |
| UV Index | Current UV index, with the day’s high and low when available. |
Temperature and comfort cards
Weather Fusion creates individual current-value cards for compatible temperature and comfort metrics returned by the station:
- Apparent Temperature
- Feels Like Temperature
- Heat Index
- THW Index
- THSW Index
- Wind Chill
- Wet Bulb
- Black Globe Temperature
- Wet Bulb Globe Temperature
- Vapor Pressure Deficit
Each card represents its own normalized metric. Current-day high and low values appear when a compatible summary exists.
Air-quality cards
| Card or group | Content |
|---|---|
| PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 | Separate particulate cards. A surfaced nowcast value is preferred for PM2.5 or PM10 when the source provides it. |
| AQI Value | Current AQI, with a surfaced nowcast preferred when available. |
| Additional PM2.5 channels | Separate cards for PM2.5 channels 1 through 4 when the station reports them. |
| Air-quality sensor conditions | Separate cards for the sensor’s temperature, humidity, dew point, heat index, wet bulb, and CO2 readings. |
| Indoor particulate sensor conditions | Indoor PM2.5, PM10, PM2.5 AQI, PM10 AQI, sensor temperature, and sensor humidity. |
Particulate and AQI cards add current-day high and low values when compatible summaries are available.
Indoor and extra-channel cards
Weather Fusion can create separate cards for indoor temperature, humidity, apparent temperature, feels-like temperature, dew point, heat index, wet bulb, Wet Bulb Globe Temperature, CO2, and noise.
Compatible multi-channel stations can also expose individual cards for:
- extra temperature, humidity, dew-point, and feels-like channels 1 through 10;
- extra CO2 and noise channels 1 through 7.
Soil, water, leaf, event-time, and detailed diagnostic metrics are presented in Observations, Real Time Data, Historical Observation Data, and other compatible surfaces. See Supported measurements for the complete normalized catalog.
