Connect Windy

Use Windy to connect an account station with its API key or to discover compatible public stations.

Before you begin

Confirm that the station appears in Windy and has a recent observation.

Add the Windy key

Sign in to Windy Stations.
Open the station details and choose Show Key.
Copy the API key.
In Weather Fusion, choose Windy.
Enter the key and choose Test Connection.
Select an account station and choose Done.

Windy real-time data refreshes on its provider cadence. Weather Fusion requests a recent seven-day historical window because Windy’s open-data history endpoint limits the lookback range.

To add a public Windy station from the map, finish the provider setup first, then use Find and follow public stations.
