Connect AcuRite

Use AcuRite for an AcuRite station that publishes observations to Weather Underground. Setup requires the station’s Weather Underground API Key and Station ID.

Connect AcuRite

  1. Open the AcuRite setup screen in Weather Fusion:
    • For the first station, select AcuRite on Connect to a Weather Station, then choose Continue.
    • If Weather Fusion is already set up, open Settings › Data Source, open the Provider menu, then choose AcuRite.
  2. Choose Open AcuRite setup guide, then configure the station to share observations with Weather Underground.
  3. Return to Weather Fusion and choose Obtain API Key.
  4. Sign in to Weather Underground and create or copy the API Key.
  5. Return to Weather Fusion, enter the key, then choose Next.
  6. Enter the Weather Underground Station ID, or select the station on the map.
  7. Choose Done.

Real-time refresh, history, and available measurements follow the data that Weather Underground receives from the AcuRite station. Weather Fusion displays the AcuRite console measurements transmitted to Weather Underground.

If the connection fails

If Weather Underground rejects the API key, create or copy a new API Key in Weather Underground, replace the saved key in Weather Fusion, then choose Next again. Enter the same Station ID unless Weather Underground assigned the station a new one.

If the connection succeeds but data is old, check the AcuRite sharing status and the latest observation time on Weather Underground.
