View METAR stations

Use METAR markers on the station map to inspect current METAR and SPECI aviation observations alongside Weather Fusion stations.

Show METAR markers

1. Open the station map:
   • On regular-width iPad layouts and Mac, open Map from the main navigation.
   • On iPhone and compact iPad layouts, open the map from the station picker or a Station Map card.
2. Open Station Sources.
3. Turn METAR on.
4. Move or search the map to the area you want to inspect.
5. Select a METAR marker to view the latest report and station details.

Use the map metric control to change the value summarized on compatible markers. Marker detail depends on the fields present in the latest aviation report and the available station directory information.

METAR observations are transient map data. Station pickers, .wfdb databases, and the Real Time, Historical, and Observations views use saved personal stations. Marker availability follows current reports in the latest provider cache.
