Download older or missing history

Weather Fusion downloads automatically as new data becomes available. Use Download Older Observations when older periods are missing. Use Download Missing Observations when a stored period has gaps.

Rebuild summaries

Use Recalculate Summaries after large restores or backfills when day, month, or year summaries need to catch up with stored observations.

Back up or restore data

  • Open Settings > Backup and Restore, then choose Back Up… to create a .wfdb backup of the current station.
  • Choose Restore Backup… to restore or merge data from a .wfdb file.

Inspect .wfdb package contents on macOS

A .wfdb file is a macOS package. In Finder, Control-click or right-click the file, then choose Show Package Contents to view its contents.

The main data file inside the package is store.sqlite, a SQLite database that stores the station data exported by Weather Fusion.
