Connect a Station

Connect a Station

Weather Fusion can connect to provider accounts with one or more weather stations. Make sure the station is online and already sending data to the selected provider.

Open Settings, then enter the required credentials in Data Source.

  1. Confirm that the station is uploading to WeatherLink Cloud.
  2. Sign in at weatherlink.com/account and open Developers > API Keys.
  3. Copy API Key v2 and API Secret into Weather Fusion.
  4. Optional: turn on Show Demo Station to include the Davis demo station in the station list.
  5. Optional: choose Test Connection to verify the setup.

Netatmo setup

  1. Confirm that the station is visible in the Netatmo account.
  2. In Weather Fusion, choose Connect Netatmo.
  3. Sign in to Netatmo and authorize Weather Fusion.
  4. After authorization, Weather Fusion loads the available stations from the account.

Ecowitt setup

  1. Confirm that the station is uploading to Ecowitt.
  2. Sign in at ecowitt.net/home/user and open the Profile page.
  3. Choose Create Application Key and Create API Key at the bottom, then paste both values into Weather Fusion.
  4. Optional: choose Test Connection to verify the setup.
  5. After setup is finished, choose the station to use.

If station data looks incomplete or incorrect, send a bug report from the app.

WiFiLogger setup

  1. Confirm that WiFiLogger is running and reachable on the same local network.
  2. In Weather Fusion, choose Scan Network.
  3. If scanning does not find the device, enter the endpoint manually using the IP shown in WiFiLogger at Setup > Network Info.
  4. Optional: choose Test Connection to verify the setup.

If the device is not found, confirm Local Network permission in system privacy settings or grant permission when prompted.

Weather Underground setup

  1. Confirm that the station is transmitting to Weather Underground.
  2. Sign in to wunderground.com/member/devices.
  3. Copy Device ID from My Devices and the API key from API Keys.
  4. Paste both values into Weather Fusion.
  5. Optional: choose Test Connection to verify the setup.

Windy setup

  1. Confirm that the station is sending data to Windy.
  2. Sign in to stations.windy.com/stations, open station details, and choose Show Key.
  3. Copy the API key into Weather Fusion.
  4. Optional: choose Test Connection to verify the setup.

After connection

After the setup is completed, Weather Fusion loads the stations returned by the provider and begins downloading available data.
