Real-time dashboard
The Real-time dashboard shows your latest station conditions with frequent updates.
Open details
Open the Real-time detail view on iOS, or the inspector on macOS, to review focused values and timestamps.
Real-time detail view
The detail view can include a same-day chart panel when stored observations exist for the current station day.
- If multiple chart metrics are available, use the metric picker to switch metrics.
- On iOS, pull to refresh from the detail list.
- On macOS, use Refresh in the detail toolbar.
Available metrics
- Air Temperature and Apparent Temperature (Heat Index / Wind Chill)
- Relative Humidity and Dew Point
- Rain Rate and Rain Accumulation (24-hour, day, and storm totals)
- Wind Speed, Wind Gust, and Wind Direction
- Pressure and Pressure Tendency (3-hour change)
- Solar Irradiance and UV Index
- Air Quality: PM1, PM2.5, PM10, AQI Value
- Sun and Moon ephemeris
Available metrics depend on your provider and installed sensors.
Card guide
- Station Map: Shows station location.
- Current Condition: Summarizes the dominant current weather signal.
- Temperature: Uses instant value first, then 5-minute average fallback.
- Apparent Temperature: Compares perceived and measured air temperature.
- Relative Humidity: Uses instant value first, then 5-minute average fallback.
- Rain: Shows rain rate and accumulation totals in one card.
- Dew Point: Uses instant value first, then 5-minute average fallback.
- Wind: Uses 2-minute average first, then fallback values if needed.
- Wind Gust: Uses 10-minute maximum first, then fallback values if needed.
- Pressure: Prefers station pressure, then sea-level pressure.
- Pressure Tendency: Shows pressure trend over 3 hours.
- Solar Irradiance: Shows current radiation in W/m².
- UV Index: Shows current UV level with risk context.
- Evapotranspiration: Shows accumulated ET totals.
- PM1 / PM2.5 / PM10: Shows current particulate concentrations.
- AQI Value: Shows current AQI with category context.
- Sun Cycle: Shows dawn, sunrise, sunset, and dusk in station local time.
- Moon Cycle: Shows phase, illumination, moonrise, and moonset in station local time.
Wind direction is shown inside the Wind and Wind Gust cards.
Gauge ranges use station history when possible. With limited history, Weather Fusion uses default ranges and updates them as more data is stored.
Refresh data
Data refreshes automatically based on provider behavior.
- On iOS, pull down to refresh when supported.
- On macOS, use the toolbar refresh action or press
Command-R.
Use manual refresh when data looks stale.
Delayed data
If Weather Fusion shows Real-time data is delayed, the latest timestamp is older than expected.
Refresh, then verify station transmission, provider status, and network connectivity.
