Troubleshooting

Quick checks

Run these checks first:

  1. Confirm the selected provider and station.
  2. Refresh the current screen or rerun Test Connection.
  3. Make sure the station is online and still sending data to the provider.
  4. Wait for any active download, import, or summary rebuild to finish before starting another task.

Missing credentials

Open data source settings, complete all required fields, save, then run Test Connection.

No stations available

Try this in order:

  1. Confirm the station is active in the provider account.
  2. Verify the account or subscription tier includes station access.
  3. Refresh stations in Weather Fusion.
  4. After credential changes, save and test the connection again.

Invalid credentials

Copy the credentials again from the provider site, remove any extra spaces, paste them again, save, then rerun Test Connection.

Provider unreachable or timeout

Check internet access, VPN or firewall restrictions, and local network availability. Then retry.

For WiFiLogger, also verify endpoint/IP and same-network connectivity.

Real Time data is delayed

Refresh the Real Time Dashboard, then verify the station is still uploading and the provider is available.

WiFiLogger scan does not find device

Confirm Local Network permission and same-network connectivity. When needed, enter the endpoint or IP manually.

Import or export failure

Try this in order:

  1. Make sure no other maintenance task is running.
  2. Confirm the selected file is a valid .wfdb package.
  3. Verify that the current station matches the file being imported.
  4. Retry the action.

Maintenance task appears stuck (macOS)

Open Window > Weather Fusion Activity to check download/recalculation progress and stop the current task if needed.

Historical charts are empty

Try this in order:

  1. Verify data exists for the selected period.
  2. Run Download.
  3. Run Recalculate Summaries.
  4. Open the chart again after the task finishes.

Some metrics are missing

Metric availability depends on provider data and installed sensors.

Compare capabilities in Connecting to a Provider, then refresh station details.

Data differs across devices

Confirm all devices use the same provider/station selection and allow sync to finish before comparing timestamps.

No Data Imported

The selected .wfdb file did not contain rows newer than the data already stored for the same station.

Open About Weather Fusion and choose Send Feedback… or Report a Bug….

Include provider, station name, platform, the exact error message, and the steps needed to reproduce the issue.
