Connecting to a Provider
Set provider credentials on the Welcome screen or in Settings > Data Source. After credentials are accepted, Weather Fusion loads the stations returned by the provider.
Before setup
Before setup begins, the station must already be online and sending data to the selected provider.
Sign in with the provider account that owns the station to retrieve the required credentials, then copy them directly from the provider website to avoid typing errors.
Provider references in this guide describe compatibility only. They do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Availability and continued use depend on each provider’s own terms, account status, and service changes.
Available providers
| Provider | Typical result | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| WeatherLink | Usually deepest history and broad metric coverage with installed sensors | Historical access depends on WeatherLink subscription tier |
| Ecowitt | Core station metrics plus available Ecowitt cloud history | Experimental support; coverage may vary by station and account |
| WiFiLogger | Broad local sensor coverage when the device exposes it | Works only on the same local network |
| Weather Underground | Core station metrics plus some provider-dependent extras | Coverage varies by station and account |
| Windy | Core station metrics and lighter history | Historical depth is usually more limited than WeatherLink |
